Create an itinerary including Les 2 Alpes
A glacier ensures year-round skiing, but what makes Les 2 Alpes resort stand out is the funicular tunneled underneath the ice, which transports you up the mountain to 3,450 m (11,319 ft). The resort's name, meaning "two alps," does not refer to the two facing mountain-sides. Rather it refers to two adjacent areas of the pasture on the north-south plateau, where the resort is tabled between steep peaks. Access the resort by road from the north. No road connects the resort to the south, but a romantic gondola does, as well as a footpath open in the summer. • Amazing place with well-maintained ski slopes. The infrastructure is definitely there and everybody can find a perfect slope for themselves. I am looking forward to coming back as soon as I can as this location has everything I need. The views are breathtaking so take the time to stop for a minute and take it all in, you won't regret it.
  • Just stunning!!!
  • 9:45 - still no lifts running, long queues underneath the lifts Also the woman in the office quite arrogant (visbility good, snowing very little, weather ok)
  • Not possible to ski in the morning and stay at restaurant up hill. You have to absolutely return to stattion before 13h. Which is also difficult with children. Quite unfriendly staff to, though station ia pretty much welldone
  • Stayed at a Nielson lodge. Food and accommodation great. Resort has plenty to offer. Can't say its the best ski area. Some runs are nothing more than narrow roads and can get busy. Also ski area is upside down and so you have little choice (if you want to ski into town) to go on blacks and reds. The easier slopes are at the top. Not for the beginner really. Other resorts offer more.
