  • A first vision of the Castle emerging from the tops of trees such as the beauty sleep, but it's a castle well live which opens to you on arrival. Past the Gargantua garden porch you home then we go to the garden of thumb.. .all along your walk of the works are to be discovered. Then comes the discovery of inside the amazing Castle!

  • In addition to the fact that the castle is very well restored, and the gardens are beautiful, the children participated in a lively costume tour which them passionate. Supported by a facilitator at the top, they did the tour of the Castle, learning to speak as gentes Dallas and damsels, trying a mesh side, learning to greet him with a sword or curtsy. In short, great time for them. In addition, the garden is superb with plenty of curcubitaces at this time of the year. The stables are cool with their animations. Also, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant which is in the Castle. There are games in the Park, and the latter is dedicated to the fairy tales of different ways. The children have really hooked! The Rose collection is splendid. It must be great at flowering. Only downside... Works of modern art. Frankly, it's probably that I'm not sensitive, but as much those that are in the Park are acceptable, even those that are in the Castle have, in my view, nothing to do there, and would even tend to largely to spoil the fun... But, some have to be fans... We spent 3 hours but there is what almost spend the day...

  • Far from being the most famous Castle in the Loire Valley, yet he wins to be! Especially its gardens which follow. Away from the French gardens, gardens theme, a little crazy here, dotted with art work, are the delight of the eyes! Tales are put in the spotlight. You can visit a part of the chateau and some dependencies. Two videos tell the story. Definitely worth a visit, to the South of Chinon.
