  • Soon 30 years of visiting and always excellent moments of quiet solitude in the middle of this mi-sauvage & mid-tamed vegetation with these birds that change with the seasons. Magical place for photographers with all these observatories along the way.

  • Everything has been said about this bird park: the rate at 9 euros entry, the coastal path free who toured the Park exactly and that is free and bicycle ATV, the reserve for birds, who find a space for rest and peace compared to the pool of Ar cachón or they can be hunted. The great interest of the course is to have twenty observatories in birds spread over the six kilometers of the pedestrian route and also six observatories which allow for the highest of them to see the Bay of Arcachon in full of the North to the South, and from East to West. These observatories a bird hidden in the landscape and open waters by small openings are certainly interesting for those who want to observe the local fauna. The largest birds are easily identifiable: storks, swans, ducks, cormorants, egrets, coots... For a multitude of other little birds observable here, we're well bothers to give them a name, despite the posters and images describing the birds by transparency in the thickness of the walls of these shelters. Where a personal reflection: instead of twenty successive and little space observatories on the other one, it would be better to have less, but power in some of them benefit from the comments of a guide to discover the nature. It is clear that the rights of entry students have served to build observatories wooden shelters sometimes on two floors. It would have been wiser to build less and put a little more field staff to discover this nature... A little more personal, a little more loan free binoculars for observation and will be fine.

  • very nice place, quiet and conducive to observation of animals and especially birds, especially in this season (February), well laid out to accommodate people with disabilities with the observation hut and explanations on wildlife. flora and the past and present life by the pool!

  • I would give the nature, birds, and blinds a 5 star. But my interactions with the humans were disappointing. Over the phone they were impatient with my broken French, therefore I missed the guided walk. The following day I requested to place my bike just past the ticket office because I didn't have a lock. The restaurant said "that's your problem not mine" and the ticket office denied my request with corporate inflexibility. I didn't have to speak perfect French to feel disrespected. All should visit this reserve, but do so without special requests.
  • It is a peaceful place to see wildlife and take pictures. The receptionist spoke German and French. Need to be inside the reserve 3 hours before closing time because it is so big. There was free Wifi, restroom and a small cafe.
  • Million of birds. Lot of hides. Very nice nature
  • A superb visit very very nice. Full of things to see, to look and be patient, a large observation tower offers stunning views as long as the weather is

  • Pictures of birds to do. We can also try the photos of mosquito. The course, taking his time, is about 3 hours. The best period por see the bird's winter. In this weekend from April 1, we can see the Swans who stay sitting without moving. Wait a bit and you will see them move the eggs. They incubate. If you don't want to rent binoculars €3 on the spot and that you had to buy, it would be 10 X 42 in magnification. In case of urgent need, there are 2 dry toilet. And it's even better than in some restaurant: there is toilet paper in the reel, 2 hooks to hang his clothes, from the manugel to disinfect hands.
