  • We visited the reserve in October, it was good it wasn't too crowded. Entry 8.90 euros per adult, holiday vouchers accepted. Duration of the tour about more than 4 hours. Bring you binoculars to see birds and water bottle in case of high temperatures, Ballad of about 6 km in the Sun and partly shaded. I do not recommend to small children because the reserve is quite long, and silence in the shelter seems difficult for them. Too bad, we were often disturbed by Ulm, helicopter and fighter on a peaceful site.

  • Superb 6 km long foot trail in the delta of the Eyre river on the Basin d'Arcachon. 20 hides make it possible to spot hundreds of birds/species. Go at high tide: more birds are then in the reserve (at...  read more »

  • Amazing place. You can see so many birds and they're all there to be seen, not hiding like some places!! Take the time to walk all 6km around the lake. Really worth it.
  • There is likelihood that we came there off-season (in september), but there wasn't much to see from the closeup besides the opossum.
  • I would love to meet some people denigrating the reserve. This reserve is one of the most beautiful bird site I know. To appreciate it takes patience for observation, watched knowledge, silence and discretion is required, is that apparently not the case of some people, since what he had seen that few birds. A nature reserve is not a ZOO. I am an Amateur Photographer and every liver it was a regale. I advise has all come admired more than 180 species I could photograph.

  • Avoid €8.90 to see a nutria, 10 sheep! 2 ducks at the entrance it tells us that out of the 20 points of views only 13 propose us birds actually 3 points of views with the same species! The last straw: more than binoculars for rent so that the Park was virtually empty in short to avoid prefer a free ride

  • If it is amateur birdwatchers is an unmissable. There are 28 observatories and a journey that can take a whole day. I have to pay entry, but better as well, to avoid picnickers.
