  • Nothing that the arrival in front of the immensity of this cave is simply Grand! The impression of entering the belly of the Earth. We had never been so much impressed by the grandeur of the scene. He must get inside the cave to reach the lobby, the place of departure of the visits (under reservation), along the road. Because Yes, the road passes inside, that is to say the size of this place. 58 meters high to 41 meters wide. Just imagine... Once in the hall of reception, the first pleasant surprise to be found in a showroom we don't bit more playful and attractive. Ideal to wait until the start of the visit with our charming guide. The visit itself lasts an hour. The latter remains all too grand! Rooms are highlighted in a spectacular way. But also a fun visit with the presentation of prehistoric tools or even real remains of mammoths... Small passage not recommended for the claustrophobic, but that allows us to take the time to few meters for real explorers. An alternative available to the claustrophobic by a secondary road. Visit a Guide a warm, passionate. Only problem, the shop offers a limited selection of souvenirs of the cave. In short, 10/10 for this visit rhymes with grandiose and emotion! Great memories! Thanks to all the teams.

  • We arrived at 14:20 and we said that the visit was complete and he had to wait until 16:30 which was not specifies on the site that we had to book! Disappointed by this setback could not wait 2 hours because nothing to do nearby

  • A visit without interest, when you walk in the cave, the thing that we enjoy, it's the smell of the exhaust of cars.

  • We enjoyed the tour - the guide did a great job of explaining the sights in both French and English to a mixed crowd. Very interesting discussion of the different human and animal remains, and the distinct cultures of the people that lived there. Surprising additions to the cave: opera music and light show, random space dog, modern art chandelier exhibits, and imagined conversations between archaeologists.
  • We love this place. I feel it's a must visit if you are living in Toulouse and exploring the area.
  • Guided tour in english for us great information about cave-dwelling man, caves extensive on the inside, surprisingly large
  • The cave is nice, but the museum is guided only and quite expensive.
  • A great place to take a picnic. It is spectacular to walk inside and cross by car. There is a church very closely with a very picturesque ascent.
