  • Church in the typical architecture of Auguste Perret (and his followers) is magnified by the stained glass windows of Marguerite Huré. Changing tones in thread of the day and the cycle of the Sun are spectacular. The stained glass windows make the rough concrete of light and poetic stripping. The building at the same time reminds a high-rise New York (Empire State Building) and a lighthouse.

  • Building while sobriety by Auguste Perret but warmed by the play of light of the stained glass windows which the achievement goes to the master glassmaker Marguerite Huré

  • Church modern but enjoying a view splendid enregardant in the tower. Since the town of Le Havre c installed a kind of Red NET, illuminations from the rays of the Sun, illumination pzartielle or total thus illuminating the inside of the Church. It's a magniifique show, which never gets.; Great idea for this net.

  • Beautiful church. This church is one of kind masterpiece. The stained glass work is pure craftsmanship. I wish I could have attended a mass here and may try to do so on a return trip to France. You can sit in awe and pray for a long time in a peaceful beautiful church like this. Very modern Stations of the Cross, unique confessionals, and simple alter. Great displays and explanations of meanings in the back of the church. Be sure to check out the spiral staircase climbing up the central tower. I’d say the best attraction in Le Havre!
  • Enjoyed the special kind of building.
  • Looks stunning!
  • From the outside, the church looks like it could be some kind of communist monolith - all grey and concrete. But when you go inside, the colours just flood the whole interior. The stained glass windows in the tower let the light fall everywhere in such beautiful vibrancy. The layout of the church is unique and that adds to the beauty of it all. It's easy to spend a while just sitting and looking at it all. It's free to get in and is a highlight of a trip to Le Havre. Make sure you don't miss it!
  • Best architecture and view of a church so far.
