Ocearium du Croisic, Le Croisic

4.1
#3 of 17 in Parks in Loire-Atlantique
Zoo / Aquarium Nature / Park
At Ocearium du Croisic, the world’s marine creatures glide and sprint through their watery environments. Walk through the underwater tunnel and feel as if you’ve become part of the aquamarine paradise, which is inhabited by exotic fish, rays, and sharks. Then, if you just can’t get enough of those sharp-toothed predators, visit the Australian Shark exhibit. A million liter (264,172 gal) tank is home to these massive kings of the sea. The penguin exhibit offers an amusing counterpoint; in a predator-free environment, watch the tuxedoed birds slide, flap, and play with each other and--if you’re lucky--you. • Some excellent tanks with large shark and rays as well as some other perfectly presented exhibits. Price at 14.50 was a bit steep though.  more »
  • It may be considered small but it allows you to feel connected to the animals. it is a delight for all ages.  more »
  • Perfect for a rainy Sunday in October - big enough to be of interest but not too big for the kids (4 and 2 year olds) to get "bored" - the paths between exhibition halls are open so you get a bit wet ...  more »

  • Went primarily on the basis I thought they had bull sharks!!! I don't think they did, but they have plenty of everything. From tiny fish to big sharks and everything in between. Got real busy in the afternoon. We arrived approx 2pm and was ok. By 4pm it was rammed. Free parking. Didn't see any catering, but we took our own food. Nice location too.
  • Great aquarium in Le Croisic, good for small groups. Different kinds of sharks, Pacific's skate fish, turtles and exotic fish. There is also an underwater tunnel so you can feel like swimming with the sea life.
  • I liked this place as a kid and still do. It got bigger and more interesting but it's still the one thing I always have seen in it - a fantastic window to a wonderful world beyond the surface.
  • Good to see if somebody was never in Oceanarium. Perfect for children.
  • Super Aquarium !
