  • This site is notable, surrounded by water, the castle is splendid, a nice visit to see beautiful restorations than this and there is an exhibition of painting each year! An inescapable place when we pass in the corner!

  • The castle of Val is a restored place where I recommend visiting! Very good organization and reorganization of the parts. Only flats, when the visit is free, other visitors can take the lead and lose the thread of the visit by activating the buttons. Also, the art show takes parts of the Castle I would have loved to see restored.

  • I'd say it is a pretty cool spot when passing through. The castle looks very impressive from the outside and is a nice addition when you're sunbathing on the beach next to it or sipping a drink on the terrace of the restaurant situated a 100 meters from it. Just relax and take in the scenery.
  • Nice lake and beach surrounding it very pristine but a little busy
  • Stunning place
  • The castle is not huge, but nice and well proportioned. His situation that makes charm: at the edge of the Lake of Bort-les-Orgues... In addition to the visit to the Castle, it is so possible to swim and to practice various water sports activities. Attention however to the crowd who can be strong. Parking is done (the majority) on the access road, which is very steep, which can lead to a not very pleasant walk. Finally the site offers a lot of facilities for those who have not planned to bathe, and do not want to pay the visit to the Castle or restaurant.

  • A beautiful castle on the edge of an artificial lake. The Dungeon is really superb and places offer a panoramic view.
