Leading a group of 17 people, I was happy to help them discover the mule-jenny of Crampton in working order but she was down and yet welcoming, it was clarified that she was on duty... Certainly, the visit was still interesting and began with a short film where a patron of spinning of the 19th century sent an employee looking for wool. The screening room was equipped with chairs shaking according to the movements of the truck which cahotait on a metalled road. The visit allows to follow the path of wool from his washing up to the production of coils of wire through all intermediate operations of carding, spinning and winding machines of the 19th century. The tour ends with a visit to an educational room reserved for children who could use a small loom and by another projection on the economic history of the city of Langogne. It is probably the place to be to Langogne.

Pretty guided tour to discover the manufacturing of wool in a historic site, a real pleasure to see the machines working and all stages of oa raw wool to the wire for knitting. A good point with the dynamic cinema even if the story is a bit far-fetched.
