  • You can come here any time of the year, we'll still feel the strength of "mother earth", spirituality, "mana" as we say in French Polynesia.

  • See the weather to enjoy the visit which we recommend should be done with a guide. Alone will make you talk to the ruins of the Abbey otherwise you may miss out on the principal unless you are an expert on the history of Brittany. The comments of the guide will interest you through anecdotes and historical passages allowing you to retain the essential. Don't worry the guide puts within reach of all. We had the chance to see the ruins decorated by students in the horticultural school of Hanvec, so colors graced the magical aspect of the site. A visit to pair it with the ship's graveyard, the small Museum of honey after (free) Térénez bridge, visit nurseries and the brewery of Térénez Saturday for example, or during the week in summer. Rate visit € 5.5 full fare adult. Museum and exhibition + ruins. Closed from 05/11 to 01/03

  • Great Abbey. The offices are very nice and quiet. Store with various products produced locally by the monks. It is possible to stay for several days. The accommodation on offer are of very good quality and very welcoming brothers.

  • Year of Charlemagne 814-2014! Somewhat lost in a magical site, three places into one worth visiting (5 euros per person). First the former Abbey of 485 apjc ruins facing the sea, paradise on Earth. Well preserved, it expected that the moment we work will be done for re-enabled this high place of the Christian faith. The grass and flowers pave the divine ground of this places. Then the Botanical Garden of the monks with conferences and exhibition currently on the gardens of the monks. Then the Museum, a real treat despite the Bauhaus or blockhouse architecture, according to the notice. Effective, very well organized, great movement between eras and the relics of the past, comprehensive without being boring explanation. This allows to better understand the major movement of liver Christian with influences from the scotts and the "Egyptians". A detour is needed really. "Go about the study with humility, without proud you of your science, submit you for manual labour with lowering and contrition of heart, without seeking the praise of men in the exercise of your art, without despising who ignore, constantly emphasize prayer accompanied by young and old.
