  • Painter to the safe technique of the 2nd Empire whose portraits were highly prized, Ernest Hébert (Prix de Rome) just as Stendhal glorifies Grenoble and the Italy. His beautiful House become today Museum is still steeped in its presence. In addition to his best-known paintings, the temporal exhibitions. Nothing that the park with views of Belledonne and Chartreuse deserves a visit, not to mention the two lascivious slaves quite attractive

  • The visit of the garden is a must. The attentive visitor, French, carefully maintained garden and a villa gives a moment of grace. I recommend this place to stroll through this beautiful garden, feel the splendor of the old life, and for art lovers the necessary visit the Museum... Free entry, which is so rare these days...

  • Visit improvised with 3 young children. The garden is beautiful as a little mysterious. Time seems to be suspended. The kids loved this garden full of nooks and surprises. A certain magic. Inside, we could visit only the right part (works) for the left hand (House) was seems you it inaccessible... The security guard followed us very close, cordial and perfectly polite way, but he was present. I imagine that the presence of children anxiety... The museum itself is worth that attention and we will return to visit the last part (!), and, for the tranquility of the garden.
