  • This beautiful Museum, installed in a beautiful Mansion from the 18th century, theme a little treats, original in french museums: relationships that maintained the France, and La Rochelle, with the Americas since the 16th century. Several aspects are presented: the role of La Rochelle in the slave trade, the discovery of Canada by Champlain restaurants,... There are also some beautiful rooms dedicated to the Indian peoples of America, (reminding that the new world was that from a point of view of occupant European). See again and again.
