Having already a lot of natural history museum, I not found it extraordinary. I too liked the front last and the top floor which are based on the human and cultures. Little more for the part curiosity and monsters. It's a good thing it's free for children because the mine which is 7 years old, did that fly over.

I was received with much kindness. I took advantage of a quiet period between 12: 00 and 14: 00. A lot of things to see in zoology, Ethnology and more with ad hoc exhibitions. An amazing diversity, beautiful collections are exposed which some of the 18th century in perfect state of conservation. With tickets grouped (valid several months), rates are really beneficial: for the three museums, either the three towers and the Museum for € 10 (€ 1 for the Museum). Do not hesitate to ask, the staff can forget some options.

This is not the NH museum of New York or London, that is clear, however, as far as regional museums of this type go, it is excellent. The displays are clearly labelled (in French) and the variety and quality of the displays are excellent. However, the lack of language translations and the absence of a themed sequence might make the museum more suitable for the ardent enthusiast than for the casual passerby.

We visited the museum 2 years ago while there was a taxidermy exposition going on. Mind blowing! They managed to put together an amazing collection. The park behind the museum was nice as well.

This museum is amazing. I was fascinated by the beautifully stuffed animals and sometimes their almost artistic staging. Their realism was stunning, too, there is a large number. The Museum as a whole was very interesting. I loved the "monstrous" temporary exhibition, which was also fun for children than for adults. The mixture of the imaginary and the real made his charm and gave us the illusion of a curiosity cabinet.

Very pleasant surprise to discover a very comprehensive collection. The building does not mine but there are 5 floors with very good quality material and well-crafted temporary exhibitions. It lacks an effort to elaborate on each of these, we're sometimes left wanting.
