  • A very nice surprise: the collections of the Museum are just huge! A floor on the fauna and the local flora. A floor very well described on the fossils. A gallery of very well-stocked evolution, even a kiwi! Museography is very well thought out, and the panels are very well done. In short, collections which have nothing to envy to museums of the quai branly and the museum of natural history in Paris, but with a much more didactic presentation! In award-winning, Museum offers a folding cane seat for people supporting the prolonged standing, great idea, thanks, it lit up my visit!

  • Very nice building which offers a set of collection for the young and the old. We went there first thing d after noon and there was little world. Ideal in wet weather. 6 euros per adult, free for children. Two not d a small garden plants and 10 min walk from the port.

  • We visited the museum 2 years ago while there was a taxidermy exposition going on. Mind blowing! They managed to put together an amazing collection. The park behind the museum was nice as well.
  • it was great free money should try it out if looking for an intersting place
  • The visit of the Museum of natural history of la Rochelle is really worth a visit. The collections are varied and well worth. In addition, the entrance to the Museum is free the first Sunday of the month (excluding summer). Leaving the Museum it is absolutely necessary to stroll through the Botanical Garden, it is beautiful (there is even a playground for children).
