  • This museum is devoted as much to the history and archaeology of La Rochelle to arts themselves, but this does not detract from its interest - some of the works are of course the two (for example the famous painting showing Richelieu during the siege for the city). The art collections are exposed by rolling, for lack of space. No frankly exceptional works but beautiful things nonetheless.

  • Hospitality refused the Pass Education card while it is stated that a teacher can enjoy free access. Not nice and so false information. The Museum is disappointing and has little works of art. A mix between Archaeological Museum of history and period headquarters of la Rochelle with Richelieu. In short, some interesting works but hard to find red wire!
