  • I make a detour by La Rochelle only to see the Aquarium and I'm left in being conquered. While 80% of the species are known to me but whatever it's worth the look. The different geographical areas of the planet are very well represented. Do solo, family, friends; for all those who do not know the underwater world this is a good place to see what if past. The room lights is very well done and well represents the difference in light depending on the depth. I can't that the recommended

  • I loved the entrance to this aquarium and the initial area where it concentrated on the Atlantic Coast. Some nice extras I've not seen before like simulated waves in some of the tanks. It's a pretty small aquarium and very expensive for a family to visit. The only food served is on the top floor restaurant which looks fantastic and has amazing views of La Rochelle. It doesn't serve food outside of lunch hours though, which seems ridiculous so all we could get was a drink. It's quite fancy too not the kind of place you'd expect for an aquarium
  • Really great aquarium. So many specimens of beautiful sea creatures. Nicely laid out and plenty of opportunities to sit down and just watch the fish swim. Repeated soundtrack did start to wear. Toilets were unisex, but they smelt awful and floors were wet and filthy and didn't look regularly maintained throughout the day.
  • An excellent place to take the kids, they love this place. Nice staff, a worthwhile destination. Buy tickets on the web site.
  • best aquarium i've ever visited. it's simply amazing. but 2 things: 1) get you ticket in advance so you don't have to queue 2) try to avoid the peak hours as it gets VERY busy.
  • Huge and modern. Slightly pricey.
