  • I'm going now for years, I'd still go there! The visit is about 2 h (without children), it passes under a tunnel of jellyfish, we see sea turtles, basins are very beautiful and feels respect for animal life and the planet! Can not touch the fish, at no time, what is for me very positive. Sick animals are recovered in the ocean, cared for at the aquarium or kept as long as they fool young then released back into the ocean. The aquarium is very diverse, you'll find everything and admire the view! For those who know, there are fewer activities that has that of Montpellier (a boat that moves, no visit 3D and again not Grabby of animals) but the aquarium is great! Nothing for participation and maintenance of such an establishment, I'm happy to go there on a regular basis!

  • Really superb, the oceanic animal diversity is huge, everything is well explained and for children it's been a lesson in biology at the same time, it's a real must see in La Rochelle

  • Better than a walk in the lagoon, a dive in this aquarium, colourful... An unforgettable moment. BRAVO enter the world of Nemo

  • I loved the entrance to this aquarium and the initial area where it concentrated on the Atlantic Coast. Some nice extras I've not seen before like simulated waves in some of the tanks. It's a pretty small aquarium and very expensive for a family to visit. The only food served is on the top floor restaurant which looks fantastic and has amazing views of La Rochelle. It doesn't serve food outside of lunch hours though, which seems ridiculous so all we could get was a drink. It's quite fancy too not the kind of place you'd expect for an aquarium
  • Very good place and our daughter loved it (3.5 y.o). Adults also enjoyed it. Was impressed with the number of species. Was easy to spend two hours there.
  • Well worth a visit. Great aquarium and superb exhibits. Town is a short walk away and lots of restaurants to choose from.
  • Really great aquarium. So many specimens of beautiful sea creatures. Nicely laid out and plenty of opportunities to sit down and just watch the fish swim. Repeated soundtrack did start to wear. Toilets were unisex, but they smelt awful and floors were wet and filthy and didn't look regularly maintained throughout the day.
  • Really enjoyed this visit. We got a student ticket to get in which was really good, and we paid to have a headset between us which was enough 1 between two (you can take your own headphones to plug into these as theirs are quite uncomfy). Loads of different fish and interesting displays, most of which were in French and English. Nice areas to sit down occasionally to watch some of the larger fish. Pricy giftshop but that's to be expected! Definitely a good day out Visited as 2 adult students midweek
