  • The ascent of the col du Tourmalet on snowshoes from the station of La Mongie. A lovely experience, sports and airy, with a big blue sky. Very good memory. I recommend our escort, Guy, of Pyreneances. Do

  • Culminating at an elevation of 2115 m, the collar of the Tourmalet offers views of the beautiful landscapes of this part of the Pyrenees. Kudos to cyclists who attack. Ice transfluence pass, the col du Tourmalet allows passage between the high valleys of the Adour Pau and East West. Lots of great photos to be taken along the course, the herds of sheep and cattle in liberty who claim their rights of passage to motorists and cyclists on the road. At the top, one can admire the stele dedicated to Jacques Goddet, former Director of the Tour de France, as well as a sculpture illustrating a cyclist in ascension. You can see the facilities of the peak of the Midi de Bigorre (2877 m) and the ski resorts of the Tourmalet and the Mongie during this road circuit. Good road!
