Zoo / Aquarium
Zoo de La Fleche was devised by naturalist Jacques Bouillault in 1946, making it the oldest private park in France. Here, find 150 species spread across 14 hectares (35.6 acres) of land. As a participant of the European Endangered Species Program, this zoo is permitted to display rare animals, such as the white lions of Kruger, South Africa. See spectacles in which intelligent species show off their abilities: macaws play games, parrots talk, sea lions clap, and majestic vultures take off and land on command. • This isn't Beauval (probably in the top 5 in Europe) but La Flèche deserves one or even 2 days to visit + shows. WE of the 8 April school holidays and with 25 degrees... crowded the zoo so you forget the shows or you get 45' before each and you concentrate on the animals many, well fed and put in value. A favorite for lemurs...

  • Very nice Zoo, animals have great enclosure, the zoo is overall very clean and shows are really at the top. A day is enough to go around.

  • Two years ago I visited the Beauval Zoo, I found extraordinary! But I preferred the arrow more intimate and more human-sized Zoo, the animals are all too well cared for, their spaces are comparable, but shows and speech trainers are more sensitive and less academic than at Beauval, hospitality, services and cleanliness are blameless, is a wonderful Zoo or bonus can come across trainers of the show that are exceptional and adorable! A must see!

  • My family and I were quite disappointed with our visit today. We feel that we paid much more than the experience was worth. First, over 1/3 of the zoo was closed for construction. Workers, power tools cutting and making noise, and animals relocated, we missed out on seeing many animals and were annoyed by distractions. Second, despite being a Friday in June, only one restaurant (the most expensive) was open to the public. All the many others were closed. We, like many others, were stuck and paid for a VERY expensive lunch, which wasn't even very tasty or nutritious. Overall, we feel deceived and a bit ripped off. It was our son's first zoo visit, and we feel a bit bitter for having paid so much for so little.
  • Cons: -smoking is allowed, even under the shows -more food stalls would be nice as they tend to get rather crowded Pros: -Very nice park, with a lot of shadowed places for both animals and visitors -Animals are treated with a lot of respect and care, which results in very healthy and playful animals. Would recommend to be in the area at least 2 days, as ALL the shows & animals are worth to see.
  • Excellent place to be with friends and family
  • Much larger than it first looks with some great animals and high quality food.
  • Lots of nice animals with helpful staff
