Zoo de La Fleche was devised by naturalist Jacques Bouillault in 1946, making it the oldest private park in France. Here, find 150 species spread across 14 hectares (35.6 acres) of land. As a participant of the European Endangered Species Program, this zoo is permitted to display rare animals, such as the white lions of Kruger, South Africa. See spectacles in which intelligent species show off their abilities: macaws play games, parrots talk, sea lions clap, and majestic vultures take off and land on command. Had a great day here. The animals were easy to see, most of the walking had some shade or cover so you did not get too hot. There was so much to see you would need two days to really enjoy more »

Nice place. We enjoyed a lot our visit there and felt very authentic in the zoo as each animal shelter was very beautifully designed and very similar to what nature offers. Animals seemed to be well-fed and relax. Our advice is too take yourself an enire day to visit the zoo because there are many spectacles and activities to do. You also can be a zoo keeper for a day. Enjoy your visit, it will be amazing.

Fabulous zoo, well laid out and good enclosures. Staff helpful and it's all well sign posted. We covered about 6/7 miles so be prepared for a large zoo. Lots of shaded walkways thank goodness and areas to eat. They do start closing down about an hour before closing so make sure you've had a top up of something v cold be free that.
