Located in the municipality of La Barben, Chateau de la Barben is a castle that has been classified as a historical monument ever since 21st December 1984. • We visited the castle during the days of Halloween party; A great day out for children (However for the kids it's a bit special, but from 8 years that fear be doable) and for adults. The castle is very well maintained, has a beautiful garden and a nice view from the top. Better is combined with the zoo, because they are nearby. We will return to Easter.

  • We're going to the castle of the Bailey for Halloween on Saturday 29 October 2016... First, the costumes and makeup, contest as say... fake? I had spent over an hour in makeup, and I have, I did something sick (black rat), and even my family and others; had played awfully well the games! and they did won a dude in sweatpants, with just the white face and the black eye under the eyes... nothing exceptional... He just did drag it... beat while me I had played the games thoroughly disguised as black rat... brief huge disappointment! jury to change emergency because no... then shows, apart from the black widow which was nice, the rest was lame and bored... Dr. whacko who knew not his text, long and heavy, poorly made creature, the passage of the Mummy with a sono done horribly wrong... anyway, editing I preferred 100 times the shows of two year back ago , with in over the passage of Halloween movies, and the nightclub in the room... is out and we are peeled... voila: DISAPPOINTED is the big word...

  • It was closed and the hours are not posted! Very frustrating!
  • Had a wedding here, the place is stunning and ideal for a summer party. There is however a major downside, the lady who owns the castle is not a professional and lost her cool several times. She shouted at people for sitting on the furniture without warning. She went on a rant for no reason, almost making the bride cry. Her husband is a good guy but she is a horrible host. Be careful, as this can trigger unwelcome consequences on an emotional day.
  • Nice, natural, quite and beautiful chateau..
  • Magnificent Castle we were unfortunately not able to visit because there was an event already full...

  • Guided tour of the castle in just 45 minutes. It is much too fast and is not even the time to appreciate the quality and professionalism of the guide. Too bad. 1 h 30 would be welcome. Superb Castle quite atypical. To see.
