  • A visit to the beauty of the building, to the imposing lime tree overlooking the Park, to learn Alchemy and its symbols that are all over this castle. Even the roofs are accessible to the more flexible and not subjects to the dizziness as there progress sometimes Crouching and plunge his gaze into the machicolations to peak overlooking the courtyard (guaranteed breathtaking vision) even if it's safe.

  • The visit of the castle can be done alone, the castle is beautiful on its own, but I recommend doing it with the guide, either during the day or better at night when the night fell. There is magic in the air, so this surprising st work

  • Guidance helpful loan d anecdotes about the owners of the premises. We already did the night tour. Impressive. The village shops are quiet and offer a good home.

  • It's not Longleat or any National Trust property. Back in private hands from the state, it's run down and largely unfurnished. There's a good tale about one of the occupants over 30 years though, along the lines of Rapunzel, and I fancy that brings 'em in. Our guide spoke both English and French and we enjoyed the tour. There's a lot to do to improve this place and funding is needed!
  • Went to a wedding here. Amazingly romantic surroundings. In a village steeped in history.
  • Is worth a stop
  • Beautiful castle, with a magical effect when we get... the guided tour by a young peppy guide was very informative. Too bad that the person of the host as bad receives visitors: to the question "is it possible to visit the roof?" She responds "he had to book, it is stated everywhere" and open arms to show us her rounded belly "I'm not going up there top 4-legged to make you happy!" I totally understand that when you're pregnant, there are things that we don't do, but there is still a way of addressing people, especially when it is in tourism, otherwise can be should be considered a conversion... visit from 09/06/2016 around 1 pm.
