Castle Tourist Spot
This medieval castle with a flamboyant Gothic façade, Chateau de Josselin, is complete with gardens and a doll museum. You can tour the dining room in marvelous late 19th century style that is based on the Middle Ages. The castle has been the ancestral home of the Rohan family for 10 centuries. View the sculptures in the antechamber, with one by Auguste Rodin and two solid bronze candlesticks that were gifts from King Louis XV to the Rohan family. • Impressive chateau, but the tour only takes you through four rooms on the first floor only! Would like to have seen some of the upstairs and downstairs, would have been much more interesting.
  • An impressive looking chateau, but not sure the tour was worth it. You only get to see the groind floor and, although it's interesting stuff, it's fairly quick.
  • Lovely gardens, great views
  • nice from the outside, probably also from the inside - but as it's a private Castle, visit is limited to guided tours at certain hours.
  • It's a cute castle in a cute small medieval town. The ticket is a little too expensive in my opinion, but the guided visit is great.
