  • Richard lighthouse at the edge of the estuary is a little paradise of peace, easy of access, perfect for resting on its very well-appointed picnic area (thanks to the designers of the project). Dams provide a great opportunity to walk with views on estuarine space, either in the direction of the typical fishing blanks, or heading to Valeyrac for a market of one hour thirty (allow small backpack and shoes). in a wild, ideal environment for part of sin where of quiet off the beaten reading. We can't get enough never to return to 'the river' as they say in the Médoc, this allows to take a good breath of fresh air, relax and think about something else than the stress imposed by the so-called 'modern' life.

  • A nice place along the Gironde. Nice to have the fisherman huts on legs of a closer look. An old Cannon there. A well-kept place with picnic tables and a neat clean toilet. Fine car park close to the lighthouse. The lighthouse itself is not looking, I think you can see not much more than you on the quay. The place is not so very special different from other places in this area along the Gironde.

  • a bit off, away from the road running parallel to the southern bank of the gironde, this little gem - is about 3 km a nice nostalgic Lighthouse behind the protective Dailey embedded in a neat colorful garden, most foot a small museum with memory load. for a small entrance fee has risen my a beautiful view on the Gironde Department and its hinterland as well as the town of royan, on the north side of the mouth of the garonne.

  • Little lighthouse that is worth a visit. Entry to two euros perfect for small budget. It seems small in arriving but once on top it's a small effect. There is also a small museum. I recommend.

  • Friendly visit to this small museum. Nice view at the top of the lighthouse and the interesting history of the blanks. Pleasantly landscaped site. I recommend to people to discover a beautiful place in the area of the estuary.

  • Visit without great interest. We have benefited from 50 cents of reduction being Odalys residents, but even free I would not recommend the place. We were told to be at 3 pm for the start of the visit. Yet arrived on time and booked several days before, they still made us wait 20 minutes. The Museum makes time pass a little but nothing exceptional. 45 minute drive for 5 minutes of visit, not worth not. Visit not really suited to small children, there are 63 markets but they are high. That said, the place is relaxing, and there are picnic tables with 2-3 games for young kids.

  • Peaceful location at the edge of the estuary. Little Lighthouse well-restored, area well equipped with picnic area and tavern! The lighthouse or guided tour. Congratulations to the association that manages this site!
