(85+ reviews on the web)
History Museum
Housed in a former prison and other dockside buildings, Musee du Vieux Honfleur details daily life and industry throughout the region's history. Enter the historic timbered building, situated in a small side alley, and explore its exhibits of everyday objects and recreated rooms representing common family life. Look for the replica of a town store, another vital cog in the social workings of this harbor town. Be sure to make your way to the church next door, which houses the museum's second section, and learn about the shipbuilding and sailing industries in the region. • We bought a ticket for four museums and this was one of them. It was an interesting view of old Honfleur and how a merchant may have lived. Worth a visit if you have the time  more »
  • This small museum is tucked away on a small street so you may have to search for it. It displays the living conditions of people during the middle ages. I have never seen anything like this museum; it...  more »

  • Don't be fooled into thinking this is a great restaurant, is isn't. What it does very well is provide a suburb view over the harbour, a good cup of coffee brought out very fast. Then they leave you alone to enjoy. So, if you want good coffee lovely view and somewhere to rest for 20 mins this is excellent. If you want a good meal go to a restaurant not a cafe.
  • We were a bit disappointed with our plat de fruits de mer. Excellent location next to the vieux bassin.
  • A pretty horrible evening. They changed our orders without asking, took forever to serve, and to top if off they were rather unpleasant. The food was variable: some good some not so good. Apparently this restaurant changed owners recently. Unhappily, they are far from having the stature for a restaurant in this price range. I guess they figured they are serving to tourists that they'll never see again. In this respect, they are right!
  • Terrible service - and in addition try to put extra on bill (fish price 22 EUR - they billed for the same fish 38 EUR . No fish for that price on the menu card - so no excuse. Also they billed for two calvados not ordered - we thought it was on the house after the dinner (dinner for two in total 160 EUR). They pretended not to speak English at all ! The female servant was so unpolite - unbelievable poor service in a tourist city !
  • Good and quick service. Nice sea food and nice view on the port
