  • The building and architecture are already worth the visit in more content is interesting, well explained (Tablet available for free). It is a museum on a human scale, the visit lasts 1 hour, 1: 30 and you learn lots of things about Grenoble and Dauphiné, from prehistory to nowadays.

  • The Museum has several parts to visit: A permanent part, which traces the history of the Isère, from prehistory to nowadays. a party in the basement (the Baptistry); some temporary exhibition and a final smaller but interesting all the same which is located outside, in the garden of the Museum. On the ground floor is books available for research. Admission is free (ask for groups). The Museum is open every day including the weekend. Good visit!
