  • Free tour of good information on the lives of people in the mountain villages of Oisans. You can walk there in addition to the visit to the Museum we have a nice view of Grenoble

  • The museum has a free entrance. It's a good place to pop into after a walk in Bastille. One of current expositions shows the life of alpine people. It's very informative and it helps to understand bet...  more »
  • A Museum at the free entrance where you can access feet by climbing the stairs from the fountain of the Lion. It climbs but not very long and you can enjoy the panorama. The expos are situated on 3 levels with in more the baroque chapel and gardens (but the winter we look at especially the landscape... a bit spoiled by the horrible tagged building squatted at the old University of geography). Currently an expo with the theme songs where large and small fun with finds like a karaoke with a Palm shower... 2 other exhibitions on skiing and people of the Alps with a look at the sometimes moving past. We understand that life was not always very funny in the past even if we know that before it was always better... A visit which leaves a good impression. Accuracy: can we go to the Museum by car or by bus.

  • Free Museum in perpetual evolution thanks to its very original temporary expo. No expo looks. They blend history, science and art with gusto. Count in general an hour by expo (more taking are time), this can therefore safely begin/end a ride at the Bastille.
