  • You are in Grasse, capital world and history of perfumery. Discover the history of perfumery and introduce you to discover the fragrances. An olfactory journey you will not regret. The perfumers of the region are involved in this museum to allow everyone to discover the wonderful world of scents. Allow 2 hours for a visit and you will complete this discovery with a visit to the Fragonard perfumery, a few metres away.

  • As passing in the area, we did not miss the International Perfume Museum. This one picks up the story of perfumes from the antiques to our days and present bottles absolutely stunning, the most recent being still in our memories. The scenography is sadly dated and lighting of the windows does not correctly read the very rich explanations of each object in fact certainly very fragile. It seems to me that today's techniques allow to compensate for this disadvantage. This seems urgent because this museum contains treasures.

  • If you happen to be in Grasse, a visit to this museum should not miss. Structured on several levels, from raw materials to get to perfume creation. Inside the Museum there are also greenhouses where you can see numerous tropical plants, from which is extracted the essences. You can also see a permanent exhibition displaying numerous ampullae used over the centuries to the preservation of various woods, various tools and machinery. Various places where at the touch of a button exits the perfume essence. The interactive part with tests and games to play for kids. Movies you can see and hear even in Italian. Very interesting also the exposure of the first vials of perfumes with the annual output up to those still in production. Museum kept up very well.

  • It doesn't look like it from outside but this museum is actually huge and goes through everything about perfumery. You will discover the evolution of the aspect of our society through the ages with various objects, videos and devices to test your senses. Very full, very informative but everything isn't in good shape. Most of the headset to watch the videos don't work. Several devices to test yur smell are missing. Apart from this inconvenience that cost my review one star, everything is great. open event on Thursdays. The price is €4 or €6 when there is a temporary exposition and students get a 50% discount.
  • Beautiful museum with tons of things to see and do! We were there maybe only an hour to 2 hours, but it could have easily taken 2-4 hours to complete. Lots of interactive kids things to do as well. For 3 euros for students and 4 euros for adults it is well worth the visit! A highlight of Grasse in my opinion.
  • Not worth the trip. Too plain. However, Fragonard is worth visiting but I found out their perfumes odor doesn't last on the body. An hour and it's gone.
  • Very enjoyable exhibit covering everything up to the modern day. A blend of fashion, industry, political and social history alongside perfume.
  • Large and informative, with stations dotted around where you can test your sniffing skills
