  • typical continental aquarium, and museum, full of scary insects and stuff. Large pool with a real sea lion, reasonably priced with a free car park.  more »
  • Definitely not worth the 9 Euro (Adult) entry fee. Firstly, the seal they have on display. The water is really mucky and dirty, they have two small windows to look into the tank which is pointless as you cannot see. The tank is far to small and shallow for the seal which is rather wide. Secondly, the display of live fish is pretty poor. Some tropical fish and that's it. They have some displays of insects, butterflies, spiders etc which in it's self is somewhat 'Interesting' is totally unrelated to an Aquarium. Moving through the attraction there is a few shell displays and sculptures. Some of these are good but are not great. Moving further there's some Egyptian display stuff, again a bit interesting. Overall this Aquarium has limited live sea life, poor animal welfare and a proportion of the not being related to year Aquarium attraction. Definitely not worth the 9 Euro entry fee. It's rather small and doesn't take long to get through. Gift shop and drinks are rather expensive as well. If possible avoid this place, I'd definitely recommend looking to go to another aquarium if viable elsewhere.

  • This is worthy of a visit. Beautiful displays which you can photograph as you go around. I didn't realise it was on trip adviser otherwise I would have completed the report last year. We bought a shel...  more »

  • Seriously disturbing. Massive sealion lives in a miniscule dirty pool the size of a bathtub. The same counts for the other living objects in this exposition. But that's not the biggest horror. Walking through the halls filled with paintings and sculptures you realise how much disrespect for our living planet the 'artist' must have had. Instead of paint and clay, butterflies, shells and even coral were deemed good materials. It was a hour of horror for anyone who loves nature.
  • Nice views from the top of the cliffs. Shame some of the gun emplacements were not left open. They have all been blocked up
  • Beautiful sea and a lot of things to do!
  • Beautiful place!
  • Forget sad dirty old aquariums, go straight to the upper floor see shells have some fun!
