Route des vins d'Alsace, Grand Est

(4.8/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
No visit to the Alsace region is complete without a journey along the unforgettable Alsace wine route. Alsace or Alsatian wine is produced in the Alsace region of France and is primarily a white wine. Due in part to its Germanic influence, it is the only Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée region in France to produce mostly varietally labelled wines, typically from similar grape varieties to those used in German wine. This region also produces some of the world’s most beloved dry Rieslings and is also home to the highly aromatic Gewürztraminer wines. Both the geography and the fruits of mother nature will have you bewitched. With the beautiful Vosges Mountains to the west and the Rhine river to the east, the vineyards nestled between provide the perfect balance between temperature, drainage, and sun exposure. Westerly winds in contrast with the shelter from the Vosges Mountains are all responsible for producing some of the best wine in the world. • Beautiful route through rolling countryside along picturesque villages with half-timbered houses. This region lives from the wine and would like to show. All along the route you're welcome to the specialty of the winery to taste. In Riquewihr are some tasting rooms where you can compare many products well.

  • Vineyard well cared and very within reach of visitors. Very well themed wineries inviting you to come in, to listen to your story and surely will come out with more than one bottle in hand. Excellent experience.

  • The Alsace wine route tour a very enjoyable trip. Fairyland-like race with each other every year in the village a village award. One of these flower paradise from Eguisheim. Favorite is interested in its products to famous nazi draws root Hansi village Riquewihr ... The ground floor of her house sold for souvenirs of his works for children, there is no great. The upper floors of the Museum. There's a lot to be written about the region for example in NYC say the same statue with the artist who made the statue of liberty near the entrance of the city of Colmar. My dear Atatürk in Haut Koenigsbourg Castle traced
