The Château de Gizeux is an important edifice, dating from the Middle Ages and much altered over the centuries, notably during the Renaissance and the Age of Enlightenment.The Château de Gizeux in located in the commune of Gizeux in the Indre-et-Loire département of France, in what used to be the province of Anjou. It is midway between Angers and Tours.The château was part of the former province of Anjou and today is in Touraine angevine. Impression de remont... more »Last night tour offered by the owner for this season has allowed us to spend an excellent evening in the company of a family invested and proud of its heritage. Print back in time through the candles and the costumes of our guides who were of small sketches. There are many things to see in this castle especially this magnificent room with painted panels of the pleasant visit over a glass of wine. My children and I had a great time in good company.

Although not one of the most famous, this is a beautiful chateau in the Loire Valley. A definite visit.
