  • Finished the round at Claude Monet's House-Museum, and after a short refreshment break we came here. Here is a very brief summary of the Impressionists, the bulk is at Paris at the Musee d'Orsay, then do not find much. We stuck to an exhibition of the painter Joaquin Sorolla, which is not one of my favorites, but in the absence of more can you please.

  • The Musée des impressionnismes always works with temporary exhibitions which gives you every six months a different exhibition. During my visit, the museum dedicated to the work of the Spanish impressionist Joaquin Sorolla. Some of his works are totally worth it, but in General, the exhibition small-scale whereby I had seen all the works on half an hour. On the ground floor there are some permanent works by Monet himself, but this is only to a single room. So also here you have seen everything on ten minutes. This makes that you can view the museum less than an hour which is little is given the pretty hefty entrance fee.

  • Nice place with some good paintings. Don't mistake it with Monet's gardens that are not far away from there.
  • Well laid out, not too big not too small museum with nice paintings.
  • An absolute gem of a museum. Saw Degas' Little Dancer of Fourteen Years, as well as his ballerina painting 'The Star', amongst a plethora of impressionist paintings. Must see.
  • i was in giverney in spring time last year and loved the place!
  • Overall, much smaller than what I was expecting, even including the House of Monet. Very beautiful Village, beautiful gardens. The paintings are beautiful but few for the permanent exhibition. We had two hours of roads to get there and have been disappointed to pay so expensive for this small museum.
