  • Get there early. Framework wonderful both for fauna than flora. We can see the Izards, marmots, eagles... Fairly easy walk among cows and sheep. Perfectly unmarked (unlike its big brother of Gavarnie!)

  • A good road that climbs to the Lake, a little hard to park in a well full of late August afternoon. Like I did this course between circus of Gavarnie and troumouse car park on the same day, coming from Lourdes and going back, I have had time to do around the Lake of the gazebos: it's easy and very nice hiking allows you to guess the cirqu e Estaube... Next time, I promise!

  • The most beautiful 3 circuses! Departure of the splendid lake of the gazebos. Easy path. Animated journey of marmots and other Alpine animals. It follows a beautiful River in a bucolic setting, all facing intended circus that suggests the lost mountain! Do not forget your camera!

  • Very nice hike from the dam of the Lake of the gazebos. Not to do a day hot because there is not a lot of shadows. The circus itself is pleasant but even less impressive than that of Gavarnie.

  • For us, it's the most magnificent 3 circuses. If you want to Park, plan to arrive early as parking is very fast full forcing to Park much more down and climb the Hill Road which increases quite ride time and exertion of the legs! The gazebo Lake is very nice. The dam is nice and large. With our 2 children (6.5 and 9.5 years), the climb up to the Estaube cabin is rather easily. Of real narrow hiking trails! Sometimes through herds of cows or sheep. There are plenty of small bodies of water... We see a lot of marmots even without binoculars (17 for us!). It runs along the torrent which is beautiful with waterfalls sometimes. We reach the plateau of the hut at the end of 1 h 45 (100 m vertical drop). There are a lot of herds, room for Spades fuck. We then continued on the path that led to the bottom of the circus (45 minutes for us, we stopped shortly before) goes up a little bit anyway (+ 130 m vertical drop) and which takes on a large valley up to the waterfall of the pla of ailhet that we have not seen because we are s stopped before (seemed a little dry by far) our had the chance to see shepherds a flock of sheep. On the other hand, we unfortunately ran into several dead cows and small calves sick... What struck children. The return took us 2 hours branching off on the bridge left for work around the Lake the other way... It goes up a bit for an end of ride! This allows to see the Lake from above. It goes directly through the back of the parking lot. Loved this hike for the beauty of the landscape, for the small footpaths, marmots, animals in pastures, and attendance not too high which allows to move quietly as a family.
