For some stunning scenery in the Pyrenees mountains, hike to Cirque de Gavarnie. Carved out of limestone by glaciers, the valley is 800 m wide at its base and expands to about 3,000 m wide at the top.   • .. .but very populated! A Board, do not take "the highway" to tourists through which everyone passes, but do rather hiking of the balconies, which largely avoids the crowded path and allows you to be quiet.

  • By performing a hike for one hour from the plateau of Sauguet, a magnificent view opens to you from the heights. In front of you the circus of Gavarnie and in the background chain, below the village of Gavarnie.

  • Pretty easy walk up here and well worth it. Not the most beautiful site in the Pyrenees, but certainly up there when looking at the magnificence of the place.
