Impressive! The passionate guide made us discover the mines in a playful way. He knew explain adapting his speech to children and being available to answer the many questions asked. Special mention to Marius, the miner who worked during our visit

Unfortunately I had at the mines do not have Internet access otherwise I could have read in the reviews, you can ask yourself after a tablet with information about the mines. That was not offered unfortunately us at the box office, although it was clear that we are Germans. So the lead in French was then quite unsatisfactory for us. I asked then, after we have participated in the leadership, in the shop for information in English or German, and there the staff was trying very hard to provide us that answered some questions with 2 informative sites. It's a pity that there was not before. We wanted to order by phone, however, the line was always busy, or the wrong number was specified in the prospectus. Otherwise, a trip you can recommend, if one considers the above written.

Passionate and well-informed guide. Even for non-native speakers, the guides are comprehensive and eager to explain in English. Definitely worth a visit when interested in geology and the industrial past of the Provence area. Wheelchairs are available!

After seeing all these great reviews, we were a bit let down with the tour. Our tour was in French and we were the only non-French speaking guests, but the guide did not speak one word in English and did not involve us in any way. We lost a lot of information that we could only receive partly through the iPad (fortunately in Dutch). The tour took 40 minutes. The interior of the mine is interesting, but not spectacular. Frankly, I found the experience a bit boring and a bit too pricey.

Interesting tour. It was in French, but we were given a tablet with information and guide was kind enough to repeat missing parts in English just for two of us.
