  • With a very interesting guide, we visited these remarkable ochre mines. It's a piece of industrial history of France offered to visit and we'll keep an unforgettable memory. Kilometres of galleries dug by human hands, an impressive ceiling height and color... Bring warm clothes (10 ° C) and plunge into the past!

  • Visit interesting and original to do if you are in the area. The visit is necessarily guided (guided tour of about one hour). Predict what to cover because it's 10 degrees in the mines.

  • Very friendly staff, visiting interesting mines even with children. The tour retraces the life of industry and minors and in the 1990s the cultivation of mushrooms. Visit that allows to understand the ochres of the Luberon.

  • Recommend visit. Fun guide. Ver cold inside, so take a jacket or they can borrow u one.
  • Interesting tour. It was in French, but we were given a tablet with information and guide was kind enough to repeat missing parts in English just for two of us.
  • Must do after Roussilon
  • The visit is superb! Did you ochre was used mostly to do the rubber? And that's why the elastics or nipples are ochre colors? Me neither! And it's just one of the things I discovered during this day. Our guide was great, we had fun.
