  • Flanked ancient site of a dreadful restoration which completely distorts the monument. The concrete to outrageously replaced the old stones and we see more than him, that for economic reasons of shows. This monument is more like nothing and even from outside it's awful. Stay away.

  • Horrible. Denatured places completely. No development of the ruins of time... sad. the parking lot, we're looking for the entrance and it bypasses the arenas but tte the view is blocked by wood panels, looks like a construction site... and inside: a football stadium...

  • Vacationing in Fréjus, we look forward to the visit of the Roman city. We started with the arenas, expecting to see a little something equivalent to Nimes or at the Coliseum. What was our disappointment. There are only few remains of the Roman site, but against concrete and scrap to operate the site and make money giving shows that must certainly refer more than visiting the site to 2 euros! Shameful and lamentable.

  • I found it a very professional initiative which turned a historic site into a live museum this way making it present in today's people life! The beton structures were very well adapted providing safety without jeopardizing the historic site . This is an example that should be repeated anywhere similar sites display no life thus not attracting the attention of the new generation! History must not forget the future!
  • I preferred the arenas in their State in front. Concreting inside to implement security and make it a place of show is not suitable for this historic site for what is in my opinion. However feel free to make the detour during your visit to see it from the outside.

  • A building, built in the 1st century BC. You can see it unfortunately doesn't have much. The arena with concrete was restored/updated and is used for various events.

  • The Roman ruins, see little concrete! But at least it works!

  • I liked it better before... There are now too many concrete... Too bad...
