  • The Roman arenas massacred by a restore made concrete and plate wavy. In addition you pay €2 for visit this horror.

  • We stopped in front of the memorial dedicated to the disaster of the barge of Malpasse. Next to the ruins of an ancient theatre, we entered, we would avoid us this visit. Questionable pardons. The Roman ruins transformed, concreted, bunkerisées, what? In arenas of a total ugliness, it is cold, soulless, delusional. Rehabilitation is expensive, very expensive, so out of respect for the old work we secure but it doesn't turn into something of a such ugliness.

  • I found it a very professional initiative which turned a historic site into a live museum this way making it present in today's people life! The beton structures were very well adapted providing safety without jeopardizing the historic site . This is an example that should be repeated anywhere similar sites display no life thus not attracting the attention of the new generation! History must not forget the future!
  • I preferred the arenas in their State in front. Concreting inside to implement security and make it a place of show is not suitable for this historic site for what is in my opinion. However feel free to make the detour during your visit to see it from the outside.

  • A building, built in the 1st century BC. You can see it unfortunately doesn't have much. The arena with concrete was restored/updated and is used for various events.
