  • Space for long walks on paths or sandy trails. Negative: less than far away roads, noise from car engines still audible...

  • Important massif wooded area on the outskirts of Paris, this forest of large walks on foot or by bike (by ATV) to do with family or friends. It is also possible to go hiking on horseback. The fauna and flora is very dense and diverse and we can hear the call of the deer.

  • Real green lung at the gates of Paris (40 minutes of transilien only), the forest of Fontainebleau is a wonderful place to go for walks, enjoy nature, calm so absent from the center of Paris. Make the detour!

  • Accessible from Paris using the Navigo Pass (for locals). This forest is incredible for its size, its diversity, wildlife, its blocks used for bouldering). Enjoy it better by bike without forgetting water supplies!
  • One of my most favourite places in the world. Love the bouldering here, but just awesome to hang out in the huuuuge forest. Incredible really. It's so peaceful. Go visit Milly-la-foret for a cool market and hang out under the trees in the beach sand with boulders all afternoon after that.
  • For those who love bouldering, just bring your shoes, some food and a crash pad. Some parts accessible by the transilien R (plus walking)
  • Is a very beautiful forest. The best in the region. I am almost every weekend inside to ride my mtb.
  • Great along the river Seine.
