Personnel who are passionate about their field, who greet you with enthusiasm. Technical documentation extending paper support information from the website of the Park are top. The explanation of the web site is a treat. The site lists all ballads, activities, resources, Park. In short, don't hesitate to start the tour of this national park by visiting his house located at Florac Castle.

67 years old mountain guide, I travel the Cevennes and the Lozère since 1979; I came at least 10 to 15 times. I love this area because it is a land of freedom, of resistance. The Camisards or resistance fighters. Wild Earth for those who love the quiet, far from a mass tourism and consumption. The Park offers many hikes through brochures; found in all the bookstores or the tourist office. Florac / St Germain de Calberte / bar of the Cévennes / Anduze / St Jean of Gard/Villefort / the book / the historic / bridge of Montvert/Mende/Vialas the Cévennes Park deserves one course this region, diversity of landscapes, exceptional flores, stormy water yard stone walls. The Cévennes is an initiatory path to that life in a sense. I encourage you to cross this region, accommodations are fabulous for authenticity. Example Mimentois to Cassagnas or Jean Luc and Stephanie welcome you with quality. I recommend the review of the Park which is a marvel of information and creativity. I prefer the South of Lozère, but Gévaudan to his charm. It will take many years to discover this territory of character; Stevenson GR is a nice trip or you will make wonderful meeting you will discover authentic landscapes.

I was born here, I've lived around for a good part of my life, although it can be a little bit irritating during summer due to the massive heatwaves, you can usually find some river to dip yourself in and cool off. There is also a lot of diverse things to do. Be it hiking, canyoning, or just lazily napping on the side of the river, birdwatching, landscapes, all that is doable in very diverse environments. I'd advise you to come visit us around the end of April or mid September, as those are likely to be the best season overall. Enjoy

Beautiful park, perfect place to chill, you can find easily a nice spot to relax with nobody around. During summer you can have a walk or swim in a river. But don't forget your sunblock!
