4.4/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web
The half-Renaissance, half-Gothic Palais Bénédictine embodies the glory of Bénédictine, an herbal liqueur based on brandy. The flamboyant palace is marked by an iconic bell tower. Inside, more than 1,000 volumes transcribed by monks fill the library shelves in the Gothic room. The Renaissance room holds keys from the collection of Alexandre Le Grand that date back to the 14th century. The gallery conducts temporary exhibits of contemporary art, featuring artists like Warhol and Dali. You can book a guided or self-guided tour of the opulent facilities, and sign up for a liqueur tasting. • Very nice architecture. A bit corny, but worth a visit. There is a very nice winter garden where you can sit and enjoy the liquor.
  • An amazingly beautiful museum/palace with a history of a liquor founded so long ago. Our visit was very special and a big thanks to Yolande and Sébastion for hosting us. If you visit Fécamp it is a must visit place and when you taste the Bénédictine you will certainly need to take some home as a souvenir 47 RM Cdo party
  • Beautiful but a bit boring
  • Beautiful place to visit and the surrounding area
  • Interesting tour. Reduced price for students, which is rare... First part of the self-guided tour. A lot of things to see. Then guided tour for we explain the manufacturing of the benedictine. Very interesting and friendly make and see. Small bowl: lack of explanations on the making of this liqueur
