#1 of 10 in Things to do in Fecamp
Architectural Building Historic Site
The half-Renaissance, half-Gothic Palais Bénédictine embodies the glory of Bénédictine, an herbal liqueur based on brandy. The flamboyant palace is marked by an iconic bell tower. Inside, more than 1,000 volumes transcribed by monks fill the library shelves in the Gothic room. The Renaissance room holds keys from the collection of Alexandre Le Grand that date back to the 14th century. The gallery conducts temporary exhibits of contemporary art, featuring artists like Warhol and Dali. You can book a guided or self-guided tour of the opulent facilities, and sign up for a liqueur tasting. • A beautiful building right in the Centre of the city. It's well worth the visit. Very friendly people-in the "boutique" is the more distant, chat with each other while they staff the purchased products typing. Be honest products. For me the Single Cask. I personally love otherwise not of sweet drinks but this one is not really sweet, sweet and has character.

  • Who is content to just admire the beauty of the Palais Bénédictine ceases to meet the best, you are the beautiful Museum and guided tour of the factory of the famous liqueur. It is still possible to attend classes on the steps of preparation of liqueur, try several recipes in that he's the star or take to shop at the store.

  • Really nice visit and liquor tasting. The inside café is in an amazing closed terrace. The palace and the abbey are really gorgeous. A need to see in Fecamp!!
  • Beautiful monument and good exhibition venue.
  • Very nice architecture. A bit corny, but worth a visit. There is a very nice winter garden where you can sit and enjoy the liquor.
  • An amazingly beautiful museum/palace with a history of a liquor founded so long ago. Our visit was very special and a big thanks to Yolande and Sébastion for hosting us. If you visit Fécamp it is a must visit place and when you taste the Bénédictine you will certainly need to take some home as a souvenir 47 RM Cdo party
