Le Jardin Exotique d'Eze
A vibrant botanical garden, Le Jardin Exotique d'Eze was built in the 20th century on the ruins of the castle of Andre Gianton, once the town's mayor. The garden is located about 400 m (1,300 ft) above sea level, and is home to various cacti and other Mediterranean succulents, along with American and African flora. This is a great spot for a scenic picnic. Work out when and for how long to visit Le Jardin Exotique d'Eze and other Eze attractions using our handy Eze route planning tool.

We visited here one afternoon after lunch on a trip to Eze. Entrance is only 3 euros which is good value for money as you’ll spend at least an hour here exploring. Be aware there is little shade... more »

If you are in Eze this is worth a visit. Incredible views surrounded by beautiful gardens and sculptures. With small plaques and boards dotted around telling stories about the medieval villages... more »

This is the best 6 euros you can spend ever. The view is stunning, the amount of flora species is crazy. Don’t miss the Mediterranean part of the garden, it is cozy and shady. Try to come here either early in the morning or after 5pm so you can have some personal space.

After visiting it entirely, one can seat on the refreshing shadow of a stone made terrace and just contemplate the sea. I read a book there for more than an hour and it was totally relaxing seeing people passing by from time to time... Totally recommend it!

Absolutely breathtaking views and an easy walk for anybody. The sheer amount on flora packed into such a small area is amazing also. When we visited it was €8 per person. Not bad for the experience.

This place is very deceptive , from town level it is difficult to imagine that there is so much hidden up there. Well worth a visit and if you use the parking +shuttle, which costs 6 euros, you get free entree for one person into the garden , value 6 euros. Nice little supermarket in the town /village of Eze

Such a gem! Definitely worth the climb up. As a lover of anything cactus and succulent, I was in heaven. This place has everything - plants, waterfalls, statues, little pathways and most of all, VIEWS!!
