  • Hospitality is promising, a small booklet is given to us. After a walk of 20 minutes we see the fortress, or at least the ruins. The round tower is closed, so you only see the outside. The other Tower is the domain of the pigeons. We borrow a staircase that leads us to a grid. He must really have a lot of imagination to represent life in this tower. Outside, the pond offers a nice overview, but NOTHING is really secure if they are only a few barriers. We understand the warnings listed in red on the flyer. The place offers little interest and the price of entry is too high to see it.

  • This castle built between the 13th and the 15th century is sadly dilapidated but saved in the State thanks to Prosper Mérimée saved him a total demolition by classified historical monument in 1862. In the end of September, we were alone to wander these imposing ruins. We have all discovered at our ease. The Dungeon is one of the highest in France (45 meters) and its two staircases provide access to the floors. Do not leave the place without making a tour of the fortress to the ponds. The view of the ruins is superb.

  • very nice place, small forward through the forest, then the fortress. Very nice building, access stairs to see inside at the top, but bring a flashlight at least for the first steps, a little sombre.les very well maintained surroundings. Nice walk around the pond. However the site is not well indicated. to see absolutely.

  • great Castle, good visit for enthusiasts. A few regrets about the visit which does not have object or Museum to enhance the visit.

  • Remains fascinating this vestige of an era fortress

  • It's all just the flight, badly maintained fortress and one of the two towers is closed to visitors. Very disappointed

  • Beautiful well preserved medieval fortress from the point of view of the structure. The interiors are long gone, but exudes a certain charm. To enjoy all the views and views that it offers. Not to be missed.
