  • Beautiful cloister and small museum in the basement very interesting, beautiful panoramic views from the terrace. €6 with the pass to visit the cloister, the Terrus Museum and motherhood Switzerland.

  • For a small fee we looked unique for the South of France, built the cloister 12th century architectural canons. The cloister itself and its rare decor is almost not affected by years of war and revolution. Especially remembered carved capitals of columns, all different and unique.

  • To have in account the importance of the cloister. and the building of the Cathedral. Regarding the museum pieces, called Eucharistic beautiful very rare medieval work wardrobe is very important.

  • . A magnificent structure rising up on the plain of Roussillon. This is a solid structure, monolithic in appearance. The town of Elne - named after Helena, the mother of the Emperor Constantine - has at its centre the "Ville Haute " - the High Town. This is built on a huge rocky outcrop that is today invisible under the winding streets and houses bulit up over the centuries. Crowning this is the Cathedral and its Cloisters, with around them an open space from where you can peer down (take care!) into the busy streets below. .
  • A masterpiece of Roman architecture set in a small village near Perpignan. Beautiful cloister. It was the seat of the former Bishopric of Elne, which was transferred to the Bishopric and cathedral of Perpignan in 1601.
  • A little detour that's worth the look. Cloister and old streets with a view on the Albères and the canigou. Before the beach quiet time.
