  • There was during the Tour de France a TV broadcast from this hangar. So that we wanted to see in real life. What particular that such a thing even exists! Nearly 100 years old, this large concrete construction. The owner tells a good story about the history, also in pretty English. And for 35 euro you can also spend an hour floating around. Already in 1937 was the last with the airships, after the fire with the Hindenburg. If you're interested, do so! (and then you see on a ticket that Rochefort also something State)

  • Following a tv broadcast here go check it out. Nice small museum at the hangar, little interactive, yet our son of 3.5 was impressed. Nice that is flown with mini zeppelins and if you want a fee that can itself. The hangar itself is not very well maintained, but particularly is that he even exists.

  • Nothing better to impress some friends to take them to the Écausseville hangar! A unique place is really the case to say... He must save this monument of history.

  • What a surprise in the middle of the landscape to see such a huge great Hall. A visit to the museum and the hangar is advisable.

  • The building is beautiful but missing a museum that tells his story and that of the airship, it remains on our hunger.
