  • Yacht marinas in two Daurnene. One is at the entrance to the Bay, it is not tidal. And not so interesting. A second Marina-port Ryu, tidal, is located in the depth of the Bay in the heart of the city. Bay estuary is blocked by a wall, so the water in the Gulf does not fall below a level three and a half meters. Generally, the height of the tides in this place of France about 6 meters. An hour before the water starts gate. They open on demand. Such a mode door operates two and a half hours to 1.5 hours after the time full of water. Guest harbour in the Centre of the area. Here it is below us now. "Juliet" moored opposite the columns. At the very beginning of the harbour there are berths, which are moored Museum Court. But even more interesting is the old Court, which stand at usual pontoons. They are alive, they continue to walk. And of course, very interesting exposition of the Maritime Museum.

  • Great museum with lots of boats you can actually visit and so much to learn about boats in general. Would suit adults and kids from the age of 8. Definitely worth a visit!
  • Great place to visit with children or as adults. The boats that are moored up are amazing to visit. Three visits in five years.... wonderful.
  • Don't miss: the guided tour of the Museum. The Museum either is interesting, but a bit dated in its Museum and with a too disparate collection (history of the city, naval architecture, historical and art photography). Floating boats are interesting to visit, especially to give an idea of the living conditions of the sailors. But the highlight is the guided tour by a young guide a little "geeky", but enthusiastic, which presents in a little more than an hour a fascinating story of the history of fishing and the social struggles of Douarnenez. Not to be missed!

  • Our kids loved this Museum, because he is very playful. It is huge and there are many very interesting information. Explore some boats a lot like our children.

  • A museum not to be missed. The tour helped us into the heart of life in Douarnenez between 1910 and 1930. The guide has captivated young and old during that hour and a half. Ships to dock have concluded a tour of the more informative.
