  • The well of Moses is a former Calvary in a psychiatric hospital. It's quite confusing, but this monument is a part of the history of the Dukes of Burgundy. Take a tour to the chapel that is being restored.

  • to see the course of the chouette.entree absolument.sur 7 euros.le wells of Moses is a vestige of the Chartreuse of Champmol, founded by Philippe the bold at the end of the XIV. This well built in the middle of the cloister is adorned with majestic statues of King David and Moses as well as those of the four prophets Isaiah, Daniel, Zechariah and Jeremiah. Magnificent sculptures of Flemish artist Sluter and his nephew is a jewel of Gothic art

  • Access is not easy, enter in the hospital Park, follow a somewhat laborious signs. Good. Then take a ticket (€3.50), a booklet, and go see this famous vestige. The statuary is successful for its time, with an original vertical perspective correction. The monument that protects him is less, it's a bit cramped. Then the Chapel, most recent invoice (19th), apart from the entrance which is time and an element added to the inside, is less interesting. This is a very favorable price, given what we can see for free in Dijon. As the Burgundians of adoption, he had to do, we did.
