  • Gothic, but somewhat austere appearance, especially on the front, the Cathedral St walk culminates with his arrow to nearly 100 m and provides a benchmark for the traveler who comes to Dijon. Multicolored glazed tiles roof perfectly it in the Burgundian architectural tradition. The Interior is sober and very bright and the great organ restored a few years ago would be worth a visit alone (see and hear). However, the real treasure of this Cathedral is its crypt from the 11th century (paid entrance) housing the tomb of St walk. The rather massive pillars arranged in circles give an impression of solidity and quite incredible. Two steps from the station and attached to the archaeological museum, this monument, who managed to survive the destruction of the French revolution, is to discover and rediscover at any opportunity.

  • Well ornamented Cathedral (paintings, sculptures) with the added bonus of a large restored crypt that can be visited for an offering. Visit to combine ideally with the adjacent archaeological museum.

  • Très beau monument
  • This time a northern European friend accompanied me to discover the region and especially the history of the Dukes of Burgundy. the Cathedral is a marvel not to mention the local style roof and finally the crypt to see absolutely. This region was a centre of the monarchy from the 9th to the 15th century. Bonus: views of dijon.

  • Very pretty Cathedral! Certainly something not to be missed if you visit the city.

  • The Cathedral is notable for its roof. A negative note however for the bells that sound a long way on Sunday for the neighborhood.
