Typical formal French garden with lots of statues and topiary. The Chateau had suffered a bad fire in 2004 and the roof and interior destroyed. The exterior has been restored. It looks lovely on the o... more »

Once, we had arranged a private tour for ten people and it was the owner then who did we visit this building back. It's a very passionate person and with her husband, they had invested (in time, energy and probably financial) for 30 years. They come to leave for health reasons and wish good luck and good persistence to new. It's a great place to spend an afternoon where there is so much to see. However, it is a pity that all highlight a sense of confusion so it's diverse in style and era. It sounds like a collection of antiques over time and it would be desirable that new owners reorganize this set by reviewing the distribution and / or set design. The reception is very friendly and it would be good to announce schedules of guided more accurately in documents or on the website. In addition, the esoteric aspect being a major feature of this castle, a more didactic explanation with a better presentation of the Gallery from 1 subwoofers is desirable. Conversely, we could have a little less explanations about genealogy in favor of a more chronological history of the Castle (and less suggest that the history of the Castle began when the family of the previous owners took this castle at the beginning of the twentieth. In conclusion, this castle has a good potential for culture and imagination, and we count on the new look of the current owners to revive the interest and curiosity of the visitors.

Lots of highlights in this truly beautiful wonderland. No. 1 the large outdoor chess board. No. 2 the various medieval signs and activities in the woods. No. 3 the amazing and immaculately manicured maze where we had lots of fun. Well worth a visit. Price of admission is quite fair. Some architectural and historical stuff too which, with small children, we didn't bother with.
Roger BAILLYBeautiful renovation of a site which has suffered over the centuries, with, in 2002 a major fire. Steeped in history, refurnished in style. Nice, well-kept garden. A competent and interesting guide. But with visitors from different nationalities, an audio guide in several languages would be economically more efficient. It is the ra
