  • Despite bad weather in March, I wanted to discover this place my wife and my daughter to discover more than 2 stallions as we have next door to us. We came in family and make the little game of discovery, it's very nice. Stallions are beautiful males than females, than small ones. Too bad there was no more than Mulassiers but we are in the House of the ball.

  • This place is great for kids of all ages, fron 2 to 92,great value entrance fee of 3euros, guided tour, and chance to pet these very gentle animals  more »
  • The hospitality is great. The guide makes us discover his passion for poitou donkeys. The ride between species is interesting, as well for children as for adults, especially when we can approach them very closely! A great activity to discover the region.

  • This is one of the main breeding centres for the hairy Poitou donkey. We visited on an extremely hot day in July, and while I loved the place, if you want to see the donkeys out in the fields, there's no shade. Equally the car park has no shade, and there was nowhere to buy cold drinks when we visited, so although we'd packed a coolbox there was not much that was cool enough. Despite that, the place has an informative visitor centre, and there are tours in English and French. Some of the information about how they breed the Poitou donkey caused a fair amount of amusement to the younger members of our party.
  • Guided tour very well explained, even for children, possibility of Petting donkeys. Lovely carriage ride
