  • The Schlumberger family has developed a global leader in oil exploration from the inventions of two ancestors attached to the area that housed their country home. The Foundation has naturally sought a place in the area to trace family history and chose this place that she helped to rehabilitate. It is one of the finest examples of a medieval with its High Court surrounded by walls which houses the Manor and his farm with closed yard loft and dependencies, all in the middle of the moat. It is the summer even more beautiful when the medieval animations still bring an extra dimension. Surprising but very interesting.

  • The ignorant will cry foul for lack of understanding that they see a rare example of the type "motte-and-bailey" Castle. Visitors "who want their money" is consoleront by noticing the farmyard buildings make up an all original and pleasant to the eye. The history of the family of the "Crevecquer" also deserves that attention. The visit - weather is imperative! -is certainly short (60'), but we're very welcomed and well informed, it allows a relaxing stroll, a friendly stroll. Adjacent to a visit of a strong traditional Castle, it also allows to measure the evolution of 4 centuries of fortification.
