  • Beach full of algae... Too bad! This causes the presence of flies and bad odors. Otherwise some cool games and a nice people!

  • I go to Courseulles since I was little... Algae are unfortunately very present in recent years and flies that come with, as in many other resorts and even abroad (idem to Mexico summer denier). I wake up pretty early in the morning and I go to sea when I see comments that indicates that nothing is done to avoid the deposit of algae while tractors are all morning where a morning sometimes I am not agree. Especially since around there are beaches where nothing is done as the part between Courseulles and Berniere because here it is unclear who it belongs and actually nothing is picked up and the nearby town has even fewer resources. Tides are inevitable so therefore they bring as much seaweed which was removed in the morning, because of those same tides shells are discovered when the tide is low, so actually it is better to take slippers of Beach (for me no worse than some beaches in the South), is also what makes the charm of the Normandy coast and allows fishing shrimp where the wedge on others beaches (Ver-Sur-Mer) if we want no tides it is best to go in the Mediterranean. When many bins are provisions to the cleanliness of the beach, dogs are not allowed on the beach, tourists also to be responsible, I saw city employees pick up early in the morning the detritus left on the beach. You can not compare Deauville and Courseulle-on-sea... Where then also compare taxes.. .and the price of rentals. Beach and dynamics (in contrast to some of the comments) for the first year a MICKEY club that replaces the former small beach club, as well as a part a bit nautical Base at the end of the beach next to the campsite that did not exist either in other years, with Paddles rental... A sailing club that is also on the town of Courseulles, but on the other side. Just inquire at the office of tourism there are many activities such as gym on the beach, loin coat... Although it is paying but bigger thing is free these days. There was the Festival of the sea in the month of August with a day of animation. There may be fewer than before things on site (parking) climbing wall, route... The promenade along the beach has been redone 3/4 years ago and it is very well arranged with chairs in metal and wood (new this year) the sea, pictures of d-day... along the barrier it n ' private houses only buildings are "Marinas" which are short of cutting back. However we have trouble understanding for bike traffic because it is prohibited on the Boardwalk, some pray down (in a way nicer than when it was supervised by the CRS) and cons supervised hours can see a Rosalie pass where a cyclist from time to time under the eyes of supervisors and he is not called to order. However rescuers are well present and vigilant for swimming. It lacks a shower into the space of the rescuers as the only shower is the opposite. WC auto cleaner (new this year) the pool very well. Part private beach has nothing to do here, it takes just a piece of beach which is reduced during high tide to ultimately do not accommodate many people. This small resort has been talking about her in the newspaper this week and for me it is a lively and pleasant resort and evolving in the right direction for over 25 years, I'm going... Apart from the seaweed that are related to a climate phenomenon.
