  • Lac de La Rosiere in the region of Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes France is a lake view worth the climb to the top of the hill. Beautiful calm waters and a great picnic spot.  more »
  • Do during the summer when the temperature in the plain becomes unsustainable. The children dip their feet with happiness in the torrent to find freshness... Several ballads are possible starting from the Lake, the cascade of lice, accessible to all even with young children, the trail is wide and low elevation. We then chained with a barbecue at the Lake: BBQs are available, as well as picnic tables. Perfect for a hot summer day.

  • Well, even us four-legged fuzzy wuzzies know that in September, there probably isn't going to be any snow, but we went anyway because Dad's an outdoorsy sort of guy and Mum was attached to my lead, so...  more »

  • Beautiful Alpine lake with tree climbing course and a via Ferrara (rock climbing where you're always connected to a wire for safety) . You can take walks or sit by the lake. There's a cafe and self composting toilets.
  • In winter, the Lake of la Rosière takes the appearance of great wild North, roads and trees covered with thick snow, conducive to snowshoeing. The Lake is almost completely frozen, it flows into the Valley in the magnificent waterfall, overhung by the via ferrata, closed this season. Step over the Lake froze on its appointed path offers a striking spectacle. The calm and serenity of nature invades you his beneficent power. A treat for the eyes and the heart.

  • It's too bad that the potential of this wonderful place is not operated in winter. Attention, the bridge which spans the Lake is not ploughed - risk of sliding.

  • Visit when you come to Courchevel, in all seasons! Several possibilities of excursions at the beginning of the Lake, more or less difficult (plans are indicated on site, or in the tourist offices). The most accessible is the one for the cascade of lice (1 h) or simple around the Lake. More difficult but with a great view: the tooth of the Villard and its ridges. Possibility to picnic with the tables and barbecue. In the summer, a catering cottage offers organic and local produce (provide cheques or cash). On-site, guests can also make accrobranche, tyrolienne or viaferrata. Or simply enjoy the scenery! Possibility to descend in winter also, but feet (by road when she is groomed), or snowshoes.
