  • on Monday night at Coupiac is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Shared meals on the square at the foot of the Castle. Some merchants offer grilled meat, bread, vegetables, fruits, ice cream, wine... We could take the time to chat with the locals during this meal. Then we attended the night tour of the Castle. Children and we highly enjoyed the skits performed by volunteers. It was a great moment in another time. To do.

  • We had to turn back because the people responsible for the opening of the castle had "bigger fish to FRY" and did not give access to visiting... We were told by a neighbor that this happened from time to time depending on their requirements (?). This enabled us to discover a small chapel dedicated to the Virgin, behind the Castle, and Paulette (88 years) made us part of his stories.

  • 'A castle to be animated by a very dynamic team of volunteers' Château de Coupiac dominates this small village, you won't be able to miss it stuck between a discrete Chapel and the Church. Not miss the fountain with its fountain, street to mineral-rich water which would have caregivers powers. But back to the topic, the castle can be visited by day, it is rather well preserved with its parts multi times following the various owner and its interiors to try to make the living place. A game is available to motivate children with delivery of a handsome diploma. The castle can be visited also night (you'll have a preferential rates if you made the 2) with a new show written by volunteers, it is nice, do not wait highly pageant but you will pass a good time, this is an original way to re - discover this castle. The summer it y workshops which you will find all the information that the site. Visitation rates are reasonable especially when they serve the safeguarding of this heritage.
