Ile de Brehat is actually an archipelago composed of two main islands separated only at high tide. It is famous for its pink granite rocks, very mild microclimate, and the Mediterranean vegetation due to the warm Gulf Stream from across the Atlantic. You can take the ferry (les vedettes) to visit tourist attractions, the lighthouses, St-Michel chapel, Guerzido beach, and the Birlot water mill.
