  • Not to be missed. Open your eyes, it is dazzling, open your ears, the birds are waiting for you. Beware, early in the morning he is cool and wet, beware, you will meet cows and small calves in walks (very accustomed to humans so zero risk) a good exercise for the calves, for the lungs, do not deny your body elixir, this makeover, it's wonderful.

  • This is the most important natural park on the island. If you take blindfolded believe of being on our Alps. Along the road overlooking the gorges and canyons you reach the refuge where it is mandatory to leave vehicles. Then you are walking. The guides offer different routes evaluated according to duration and complexity. Pick any one, however you will come to one of the beautiful lakes. You will be rewarded for the effort.

  • The Valley has become the destination of many tourists, so if you decide to make this lovely walk into nature, know that you will not be alone. It is a trek with medium-low difficulty, the ultimate goal is the Lac du Melo and for the more adventurous the Lac du Capital (other 40 minute hike and 200 metres in addition to altitude). It starts from the Court, here you will find all the information to the Restonica. The first part of the trail is also accessible by car (hitchhikers are not uncommon). The roads leading to the Valley are narrow and quite dangerous given the height and lack lateral protection, I admit I closed my eyes more than once during the trip and didn't hardly ever looked out the window. After a few km of fear on your wheels, you will find ample parking surcharge, recommend arriving early to avoid the traffic that would make driving even more dangerous. From the parking lot begins the path portion doable on foot only, I recommend a minimum of equipment, at least your hiking boots, preferably accompanied by a windbreaker, the path is uphill and the weather may deteriorate suddenly (we have been overwhelmed by rain and wind), don't forget to bring some water (I have missed and what cost me dear well, 4 €, cost of bottle in a shelter). Near the car park there are taverns where you can eat, I recommend you do it back, so you can enjoy the excellent local food after the medicine. Like I said, it starts from the car park, after just over an hour's walk uphill, the view is incomparable, a pleasure for your eyes. The landscape that we are faced is a show, the water is crystal clear (depending on the weather you can also let the bathroom), nature is unspoiled and the clouds are so close that you can almost touch, these give the landscape look even more impressive. To reach the Lakes the trails are well marked with two yellow stripes, both, almost impossible to get lost. The paths are the same for the first 20 minutes, then you can choose one, the right one is shorter, but in my opinion more difficult (we chose the way), here the slopes are greater, the left one is a bit longer, but less twisty (we chose to return). Upon return we decided to eat at a shelter met during the descent, omelette with cheese, coffee and wine, all served by the owner, a pastor of the place with a great desire to socialize, a really good way to get to know a little about the true culture of the place. I conclude that anyone who decides to travel in the mountains Ran cannot devote a few hours to trek through Restonica Valley.
